DON’T. / THE USEFUL STUFF
Don’t panic.
Stuck on something other than an instruction? You’re in the right place.
Let’s get you playing again.
Email Jon Miller at apps@jonmiller.uk for support or privacy requests.
For a bug report, include your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, the game mode and what happened. A screenshot and the steps that caused the issue help too. Please leave out private information.
What am I actually supposed to do?
Disobey the instruction. If the game says “Don’t tap”, tap. If it says “Don’t tap the red circle”, tap the red circle. When it switches to a direct command such as “Tap the red circle”, resist it. Read the whole instruction before you act.
Challenges can involve taps, swipes, dragging, holding, drawing, timing or moving your device. The wording is part of the puzzle.
Can I replay today’s daily challenge?
Daily gives you one run each day, with up to 30 challenges. Once that run finishes, you can view and share the result. A new run becomes available on the next day according to your device’s local date.
For another go right away, choose Infinite or Three Minutes. A mistake in Three Minutes costs ten seconds; in Daily or Infinite, it ends the run.
Why isn’t my score on the leaderboard?
Leaderboards are available for Infinite and Three Minutes. They need an internet connection and an authenticated Apple Game Center account. Check Game Center in your device settings, then reopen the game. Use Ranks on the home screen to view the leaderboards.
A score that could not be submitted is kept on your device for a later attempt. Daily results and same-screen 1v1 matches do not use these leaderboards. You can keep playing without Game Center.
A shake or turn isn’t registering.
Hold your device securely and upright for turn challenges, then turn it in the requested direction. Turn detection may not work while the device is lying flat. Keep movements controlled and play with enough space around you.
If the problem continues, close and reopen the game and contact support with the exact instruction and your device model. Motion challenges rely on compatible device sensors.
Which devices can play?
DON’T. is designed for iPhone and iPad running iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later. The game is being prepared for release; an App Store download link will appear on this website when it is available.
1v1 is a local mode for two people sharing the same screen. It does not require two devices or online matchmaking.
Where is my progress? Can I delete it?
Daily results, streaks and personal bests are stored on your device. The game does not provide its own account-based progress sync. Deleting the app and its data removes this local progress; offloading the app can preserve it, and restoring a backup may bring it back.
Game Center scores are handled separately by Apple. For details about local storage, privacy requests and Apple’s controls, read the privacy policy.
